Kimberley Wants Area Opened For Hunting

KIMBERLEY, B.C.-- 
The opening of the Cranbrook electoral district for elk hunting in the fall will be urged by the Kimberley Rod and Gun club, it was decided at the club's annual meeting.
The recommendation will be drawn up at the February meeting.
THE OPENING of the area west of the Kootenay River has already been endorsed by the Cranbrook 
Rod and Gun club, which maintains that the elk protected there migrate into Montana where shooting of both cow and bull elk is permitted in season.
Jack Dean was elected president of the club; Joe Mascho was re-elected vice-president and named directors for a two-year term were James Handley, James Davis, Ted McVicar, Douglas Land and 
Victor Dick.
