Bassano H.S.A. Re-Organized

BASSANO-- The Bassano home and school association recently held there reorganization meeting. Although the association is a bit late in being organized it plans a very active year. The new executive was elected from the floor. Mrs. Lester Inman as the new president, John Swatsky will be the Vice-president, Sid Edwards was elected as Sec.-Treas. Mrs. George Mashford will act as Chairman of the social committee. Mrs. R. MacLean will head the program committee. John Jensen will head the finance committee. Mrs. Monty Kelly is in charge of the membership, and John Pacholka will be the associations reporter.
The association presented Dwane Sheperd with a $50 scholarship for the best academic record in Grade 12. Dwane is at present attending Royal Military College in Quebec.
The Bassano 4H Club and the Bassano Gun Club will sponsor a trap shoot Saturday.
