Provincial Institute Award Winners Named 
Seven Calgarians Included On List; Athletic Letters Also To Be Given 

Seven Calgarians are included in a list of scholarship winners at 
the Provincial Institute of Technology and Art for their work  during the last school year.
The scholarships are awarded to students who have completed at least one year at the 
institute, and who plan to continue their studies in the coming year. In addition to the scholarships, many students were awarded "T" letters for participation in Student Association activities.
Calgary scholarship winner were:
Gordon Hughes, Crown Lumber Co. Ltd. award, $50, for building construction and drafting.
Sven Lassen, Revelstoke Sawmill Co. award, $150, for building and construction drafting.
Ronald E. Wemp, Calgary Motor Products award, $150, for auto service engineering.
Walter Drahanchuk, Col. Wood chapter, I.O.D.E. award, $100, for art.
Steve Kiss, Frederick Charles Manning Memorial award, $100, for art.
William E. Godwin, Hudson's Bay Co. award, $35, for art.
Nicholas Bidniak, Henry Birks and Sons award, $25, for art.
