Michel Legion Holds Election

NATAL, B.C.-- The Michel-Natal Branch of the Canadian Legion elected for the 1954 term the following officers: past president, Donald McFarlane; president, George Mannion; vice-president, William G. Lyne; secretary, Robert Martin; treasurer, Roger A. Paslaud. The executive-committee chosen will consist of Bert H. Lyne, Kenneth McFarlane, Richard I. Hughes, Stanton Boulstridge Sr. The above committee was given power to add to the executive-committee.
THE ANNUAL meeting of the Elk Valley Farmer's Institute elected: president, Steve Lazaruk, for the third term; secretary, Frank Fairclough, third term. Directors, Frank Lipovski, Frank Svee, Harold Travis, Andy Marushka and Len Musil.
