Charter
Night Is Celebrated

HUSSAR--
The Hussar Lions Club celebrated charter night last week with a banquet,
followed by a program, with the president, H. H. Repp as chairman, assisted by
H. W. Douglas and Linton Treacy, as master of ceremonies.
Len Larsen of Strathmore introduced the
District Governor, Dr. H. W. Bateman of Choteau, Montana, who presented the
charter which was accepted by Mr. Repp.
The presentation of gong and gavel on behalf
of Strathmore and Rosebud Lions, by
Bill Renn of Rosebud was accepted by Bert Moulton.
Among the out-of-town guests were: Dr. Howard
and Elizabeth Bateman of Choteau, Montana; Rev. and Mrs. Philip Pennent, Len
Larsen, and Bill Springthorpe, of Strathmore. Charlie H. Linn and H. Campbell
of Calgary; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Robinson of Carbon and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Renn of
Rosebud.
The
officers of the Hussar Lions are: President, Henri H. Repp; vice-presidents,
Harry W. Douglas and Eric Knudsen; secretary-treasurer, James A. Stewart; Lion
tamer, Henry V. Law and tail twister, G. Graham Montgomery. Directors are:
William G. Barker, Linton Treacy, Herbert Moulton and Albert E. Feradi.
