Annie McDougall IODE Chapter Elects Conveners

At a recent meeting of the Annie McDougall Chapter IODE the following members were elected as conveners: Services at home and abroad, Miss Winnifred Lochtie; blind, Miss Violet Smith; welfare, Mrs. W. Goett and Mrs. Ken Patterson; films, Mrs. J. D. MacKenzie; immigration and canadianization, Mrs. L. Rackham; Commonwealth relations, Mrs. C. C. MacDonald; publicity, Miss Enid May; historian, Miss Alice Slater; ways and means, Mrs. W. B. Graham.
The chapter members entertained the veterans at the Convalescent Home at bingo in March. New drapes and a new chair, upholstered and refinished, were placed in the Annie McDougall Ward in the Colonel Belcher Hospital. Plans were completed to hold a rummage sale in the Elks Hall on April 30.
