Mt. Royal School Awards Listed

The junior high school classes of Mount Royal School held a graduation and farewell party in the school auditorium Friday. Games, dancing and refreshments were enjoyed.
The B'Nai Brith shield for good school citizenship was won by James Dunsmoor. The presentation of the shield and accompanying silver cup, was made by the president of the B'Nai Brith, A. Polo. The award of this shield is an annual event, based upon scholarship, good sportsmanship, and general leadership as evidenced in all school contacts with teachers and classmates.
Joint winners of the W. M. Pecover award, for good school citizenship, were Enid Donovan and Robert Stowell.
First award for highest standing in mathematics was won by Harro van Brummelen. First award in language was won by Nancy Turner. Alan Arthur was awarded the first prize for social studies.
