Starland M.D. Election Held On Saturday

MORRIN-- Hans Grott of Craigmyle defeated H. S. Chambers of Delia 94 to 89 Saturday in an election for councillor in Subdivision 1 of the Municipal District of Starland No. 47.
Mr. Chambers had served as councillor for one term.
In Subdivision 5, Albert Aaserud of Craigmyle defeated Frank De Mott of Delia by 80 to 68.
An election in Subdivision 5 was made necessary by the resignation last month of H. S. McLaren of Delia, who served as councillor for 17 years and as reeve for 10. Mr. Aaserud is also a member of the division school board.
