10 Calgarians To Attend Legion Meet

Ten members of the No. 1 branch of the Canadian Legion will attend the dominion convention in Windsor, Ont., May 29 to June 3.
Wilf Weir, president of the branch will head the delegation.
Other members include G. V. Reed, first vice-president; Helen Kozicky, second vice-president; R. I. Stirling, secretary-manager; P. L. Dutton, Mrs. Peggy Allen, J. T. Rae and C. S. Hanna, executive members; and Adam Graham, a past vice-president.
Harold Smith will attend in a dual capacity-- as No. 5 district commander, and as a member of the No. 1 branch.
About 1,500 delegates are expected to attend the biennial convention.
The No. 1 branch resolutions committee will meet next week to draft the resolutions it will take to the convention.
