New CTCA President Elected

 

Frank McCool, general manager of The Albertan, Thursday was elected president of the Calgary Tourist and Convention Association.

lso elected at Thursday's meeting were three vice-presidents: K. S. Ford, the city's industrial commissioner; Reuben Hamm, secretary of the Alberta Hereford Association and news director of radio station CHFM-FM; and Gerald Weber, president of Cardinal Coach Lines.

These officers are chosen from their own number by the 15 directors elected at the CTCA annual meeting. Other elected directors are C. R. Campbell, L. B. Carr, E. H. Davis, W. J. Douglas, W. F. Johns, R. W. Lamb (immediate past president), Ken Liddell, E. A. Locke, K. I. Lyle, H. V. Nattall and George Sargenia.

 The 15 elected directors appoint up to 30 additional directors, and Thursday's meeting nominated 28, who will now be approached for their consent to act.
